大同是山西最北端城市，曾为北魏京华、辽金陪都、明清重镇，境内文物古迹众多，有世界文化遗产云冈石窟、世界十大奇险建筑之一悬空寺。 这里亦汇集了大同古城、华严寺、善化寺、 边塞长城等人文古迹。

Within Datong, there are numerous cultural relics and historical sites, including the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Yungang Grottoes, and the Hanging Temple, one of the world’s ten most perilous buildings. Additionally, Datong is home to cultural landmarks such as the Datong Ancient City, Huayan Temple, Shanhua Temple, and the Great Wall of the Frontier.

大同自然景观独特，五岳之一的恒山便坐落于此。此外，大同火山地质公园、桑干河生态旅游区、大同土林、灵丘空中草原也是游大同不可错过的景点。大同美食久负盛名， 刀削面、百花烧卖、浑源凉粉、大同黄花等地域性特色美食享誉中国，大同因此被世界中餐业联合会授予“世界美食之都”称号。

The natural landscapes of Datong are equally unique, featuring Mount Heng, one of the Five Sacred Mountains, as well as the Datong Volcanic Geological Park, Sanggan River Ecotourism Area, Datong Earth Forest, and Lingqiu High-altitude Grassland. Renowned for its cuisine, Datong has earned the title of “World Food Capital” from the World Association of Chinese Cuisine.

太原位于山西中部，拥有2,500多年历史，为山西省会，又有“锦绣太原城”之称。太原有中国现存最早的古典宗祠园林建筑群——晋祠，它也是山西简称为“晋”的历史来源。除了拥有蒙山大佛、双塔寺、天龙山石窟等众多历史旅游景点，太原也是一座博物馆之城，境内有山西博物院、山西省青铜博物馆、山西自然博物馆等，适合游学旅行。

Taiyuan boasts a history of over 2,500 years and serves as the provincial capital. Notably, it houses Jinci Temple, the oldest extant classical ancestral temple garden complex in China, reflecting its rich cultural heritage. In addition to its renowned historical landmarks like the Mengshan Giant Buddha, Shuangta Temple, and Tianlongshan Grottoes, Taiyuan is also acclaimed as a city of museums, home to institutions such as the Shanxi Museum, Shanxi Natural History Museum, etc.

太原也是知名影视剧的拍摄地，张艺谋的《满江红》就曾在太原古城拍摄取景。清和元的头脑、认一力的蒸饺、六味斋的酱肉、老鼠窟的元宵、双合成的糕点都是当地特色美食，一定要尝尝。

Furthermore, Taiyuan has served as a prominent filming location, with scenes from Zhang Yimou’s “Full River Red” filmed in its ancient city. With its abundance of culinary delights, Taiyuan offers a diverse array of dining options that visitors should not miss.
