南京市民俗博物馆位于始建于清代嘉庆年间的甘熙宅第内。南京市民俗博物馆设立有3个展区：“金陵名宅·书礼传家——甘熙宅第历史文化展区”、“金陵瑰宝·世续繁华——南京非物质文化遗产展区”和“金陵繁会·城南遗风——老南京民俗展区”。每一个展区都是一篇通过民俗记述的故事，以此来延续金陵这片土地上一代代人的精神。
Situated within the Former Residence of Gan Xi, constructed during the Qing Dynasty’s Jiaqing period, the Nanjing Folk Custom Museum comprises three distinct exhibition zones: the “Former Residence of Gan Xi Historical and Cultural Exhibition Area,” the “Nanjing Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Area,” and the “Old Nanjing Folk Custom Exhibition Area.” Each zone narrates tales through folk customs, endeavoring to preserve the enduring spirit of Jinling’s inhabitants across generations.

南京市博物馆馆址朝天宫，素有“金陵第一胜迹”之美誉，为江南地区现存规模最大、保存最为完整的明清官式古建筑群落。馆藏藏品有10万多件，而龙年特展“中国龙——甲辰年贺岁展”也“龙”重登场，集中展示南京地“龙”形文物及民俗非遗展品，共计180余件（套），反映中国龙文化的变化过程。

With a collection of over 100,000 items, Boasting a collection of over 100,000 artifacts, the museum currently hosts a grand exhibition commemorating the Year of the Loong, “Loong – Jia Chen Year Celebration Exhibition”. It focuses on showcasing more than 180 artifacts related to Loong-shaped cultural relics and intangible cultural heritage from Nanjing, illustrating the evolution of Loong culture.
