Cover Story: The “UnAkari” Jiangxi, China
因位于江南之西而得名的江西，常被戏称为“中国最没有存在感的省份”“阿卡林省”；但其境内的名山胜水、水乡古村，深厚的文化面貌、历史底蕴，都是你我不容忽视的。极负盛名的庐山胜境、道教仙山三清山、最美乡村婺源的油菜花、千年瓷都景德镇与年轻艺术家聚集的陶溪川、婺源雕刻工艺、各种珍贵的非遗技艺……“颜值”与“内涵”兼具的江西，纵使再低调，又怎能拿“阿卡林”来与她相提并论？
Jiangxi (“xi” means west) got its name as it is located west of Jiangnan. Although often jokingly deemed as “China’s least noticed province” or called “Akari* Province”, Jiangxi owns magnificent mountains, beautiful rivers, charming ancient villages, as well as profound cultural and historical heritage. Lushan Global Geopark, Mount Sanqingshan, Wuyuan’s rapeseed flower field, “Porcelain Capital” Jingdezhen, Taoxichuan Ceramic Art Avenue, Wuyuan’s carving crafts and other intangible cultural heritage…these are all fascinating natural scenery and cultural attractions in Jiangxi. A place like this shouldn’t be “Akari” at all!
