The growth and prosperity of Jiangsu has a deep connection with water since ancient times. Nowadays, we invite you to participate in the “Charm of Jiangsu” Travel Route Contest to showcase the beauty, history and cultural heritage of Jiangsu through the charm of the province.
Since the opening of the Grand Canal over 1,400 years ago, Jiangsu has been one of China’s economic, commercial, cultural and education centres.
As the province with the largest proportion of water area in China, Jiangsu has a vast area of water. In addition to the Grand Canal, three major rivers, the Yangtze River, Yellow River and Huai River, also flow through Jiangsu.
With more than 2,900 rivers and 300 lakes, Jiangsu is home to numerous canal cities and Jiangnan water towns.
The charm of Jiangsu’s water towns is manifested in its stunning natural scenery, deep historical heritage, wonderful literary works, rich folk culture and tempting food and wine, which can be found everywhere, regardless of the seasons, cities and villages.
Competition Rules
Submission Period: 10 – 27 August 2022
Competition Theme: Travel in Jiangsu, Discover the charm
Competition Content:
Design your own itinerary around the natural elements of Jiangsu’s “rivers, lakes, seas and springs” and discover the beauty of Jiangsu. Thematic routes should include the necessary information such as the theme of the route, recommended cities and attractions. It should also provide useful suggestions such as entry season, visit time, cost, transportation, accommodation and catering.
Submission Rules:
1. Each designer can submit a maximum of 2 routes.
2. There are no restrictions on the language of the content submitted. Short videos, H5 or other forms are encouraged to showcase the content of the route products.
3. If submitting a video, it should be in 16:9 MP4 format, not exceed 1024MB and between 2-5 minutes in length.
4. Submissions can be made by email and include an application form with relevant information.
