Ode to the Wind Terrace is located in the north of Hancheng Park, the central of Pei County, Xuzhou. It is listed as one of the renowned “8 Glamorous View of Ancient Pei”.
According to the rules of Zhou Qin, and the early Han dynasty, a platform must be built when incumbent emperors were to perform any formal events or ceremonies.
This particular terrace-style platform is built by the ancient people of Pei County to commemorate the famous Ode of Wind improvised by Liu Bang, the Emperor Gaozu of Han.
The Ode to the Wind Terrace has a thousand-year history of Han culture deep cultural legacy and has gone through numerous rebuilds and relocations.
Now, the terrace has undergone its latest renovation and is open to the public.
It has become a complex integrating Han Culture study and immersive interpretation that visitors should never miss.
