
A China’s intangible cultural heritage set world record recently. Changzhou Jintan paper carving successor, Yang Zhao Qun, led a creation of the hundred-metre-long paper roll “Grand Canal” months ago. The paper carving re-presents scenes of the government, the canal, and the salt warehouse of old times, showing the historical appearance of the Grand Canal, and its length of 99.97 metres makes it a Guinness World Record.
