7 projects in Nantong have been chosen as province key culture and tourism industry projects in 2021
The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Jiangsu Province recently announced the province key culture and tourism industry projects in 2021.
Among the 70 construction and investment projects, seven projects in Nantong had been selected.
1) 2 Completed Project
a) Nantong Haimen Cultural Center Theater
The project has a construction area of 47,700 m2, consist of the Haimen Grand Theater with a construction area of 15,600 m2, the Dongbuzhou People’s Theater has a construction area of about 17,100 m2, and the Folk Song Art Theater has a construction area of about 2,600 m2.
b) Technical transformation of Rugao Rongwei leisure and entertainment equipment
The project has a construction area of 90,000 m2 and is mainly engaged in the production of outdoor equipment such as inflatable swimming pools and surfboards used in water parks and leisure sports.
2) 2 Projects under construction
a) Nantong Zhang Jian’s hometown
The total planned area is 4.5 million m2, including commerce, catering, homestay, cultural experience, and characteristic pastoral.
b) Qidong Xiexing Port Comprehensive Culture and Tourism Development
The project has a construction area of 90,000 m2, and it is planned to create a large show with the Caribbean theme, a Navigation Research Sports Camp, and other tourism projects.
3) 3 new projects
a) Nantong Yidongfang
The project covers an area of 48,000 m2, with a total construction area of 142,000 m2. It will build a large culture and tourism complex that integrates five themes and functions of culture and tourism art exhibition and sales, art equity investment and incubation, etc.
b) Nantong Langshan International Cruise Terminal
The project plans to build a berth of 100,000 tons and two berths of 50,000 tons. After the project is completed, it will form a modern riverside leisure tourist attraction integrating education, waterfront residences, and cruise homeports.
c) Nantong Sutong Yangtze River Eco-cultural Tourism Park (Phase I)
To focusing on the theme of the protection of the Yangtze River, the construction of supporting facilities such as ecological protection exhibition parks, green corridors, etc., will become the most distinctive ecological and cultural tourism project in the Yangtze River Delta.
